Arizona Man Charged with Threatening to Kill Donald Trump

An Arizona man on Wednesday was charged with threatening to kill President-elect Donald Trump, after he posted multiple threatening videos on social media.

The man, identified as Manuel Tamayo-Torres, was arrested in Southern California on Monday and has been charged with one count of making threats against the president-elect and four counts of making false statements during the purchase of a firearm.

He was previously convicted of felony assault in 2003, and sentenced to five years in a California prison, per NBC News.

Charging documents allege that Tamayo-Torres posted hateful videos almost every day, where he allegedly accused Trump and his family of kidnapping and sex-trafficking his children. The documents do not cite Trump by name, but label him as “Individual 1,” who was described as a former president and current president-elect.

One of the videos, which was posted Nov. 21, directly threatened the former president, where Tamayo-Torres called Trump a “low-life scum” and threatened to bury him.

“You’re Caucasian nothing,” he said in the video. “You’ll earn nothing. Aryan money, that’s all you have. You’re a low-life scum. I’ll spit in your f—–g face motherf—er, and if they give me a chance, I’m going to f—–g bury you myself.”

The charges come as the FBI investigates other threats against Trump’s Cabinet nominees and administration appointees. The threats also come after Trump survived two assassination attempts earlier this year.
